Rickey Smiley is remembering his good fortune after his little girl made it out of medical procedure after she was shot on Sunday night.

The humorist, 51, uncovered that his little girl Aaryn had been admitted to the clinic during his morning radio show on Monday, sharing that the 19-year-old was shot on numerous occasions when she went to get food at a Whataburger in Houston throughout the end of the week.

“I wasn’t in any event, going to say anything regarding this. I’ve been managing this throughout the morning, sitting up here with butterflies in my stomach attempting to do the show. My most youthful girl was shot the previous evening,” he said on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. “She’s in the emergency clinic at this moment.”

He included of his girl, “She’s crying. She’s frightened.”

The Houston Police Department affirmed to PEOPLE that a lady and three men endured non-hazardous wounds after a taking shots at 6898 South Freeway on Sunday night.

The three men were sitting within a vehicle at a stoplight when an obscure vehicle drove by and started shooting numerous shots, as per police. A representative for the division revealed to PEOPLE that the three men were hit and a lady traveler in a different, inconsequential vehicle was struck in the crossfire.

“I’m thankful,” Smiley said in an Instagram video shared on Monday evening. “I’m more than appreciative that my little girl is alive.”

In a different post, the Dish Nation star said that his little girl “made it out of her activity” and is “doing extraordinary.”

Then, Aaryn — who praised her nineteenth birthday celebration only days back — described the nerve racking occurrence on her Instagram Stories, composing close by a photograph of a blood-recolored front seat, “This is the most alarming thing that has ever transpired.
