These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thedeveloperlabs.com and our software products, including “Site Health & Accessibility Pro” (the “Plugin”) and any related services (together, the “Services”), provided by The Developer Labs.
By accessing our website, starting a trial, or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. The Services
The Plugin is a Framer plugin that scans a Framer project’s canvas for accessibility, SEO, performance, and responsive-design issues, and offers scoring and, where safely possible, one-click fixes. It is offered as:
- A free trial, valid for one (1) day from activation, requiring registration (name and email) and locked to the specific Framer site/domain it’s activated on; or
- A paid license (monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout), locked to a single Framer site/domain.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when registering for a trial or purchasing a license. You’re responsible for keeping your license key confidential — do not share it, as licenses are locked to a single site and misuse may result in suspension.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to purchase a license.
3. License grant and restrictions
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin on the single Framer site/domain your license is registered to, for as long as your trial or paid subscription remains active.
You may not:
- Use a license on more than one Framer site/domain, or attempt to circumvent the domain/site-lock enforced by the license system.
- Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license key to another party.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Plugin, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction.
- Use the Plugin or Services for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with or disrupts our systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke a license for violation of these Terms, including detected domain-lock circumvention or abuse of the trial system.
4. Domain/site locking
Each license (trial or paid) is permanently registered to the first Framer site/domain it’s activated on. This registration cannot be changed by you directly; if you have a legitimate need to move a license to a different site (for example, replacing a project), contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we’ll review the request.
5. Trials
Trials are limited to one (1) day and are available once per Framer site/domain, at our discretion, and subject to our trial-abuse prevention measures. We may modify, limit, or discontinue trial availability at any time.
6. Fees, billing, and subscriptions
- Prices are as shown at checkout at the time of purchase and are subject to change for future billing periods or new purchases (not retroactively for an already-completed payment).
- If you purchase a subscription (recurring monthly or yearly billing), it will automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date, through the account management options made available to you (or by contacting [SUPPORT EMAIL]).
- If a scheduled payment fails, we may place your license into a grace period; if payment is not resolved within that period, the license will expire.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; you’re responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase.
7. Refunds
See our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In short: we do not offer refunds, except where required by applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The Plugin, our website, and all related content, trademarks, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you only the limited license described in Section 3 — nothing else. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Disclaimers
The Services, including any accessibility, SEO, or performance findings the Plugin produces, are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The Plugin’s findings are a diagnostic aid, not a guarantee or certification of legal compliance. Some checks are marked “Manual Review Required” because the underlying design tool cannot fully verify them automatically. Passing all checks in the Plugin does not guarantee compliance with WCAG, ADA, or any other accessibility, legal, or regulatory standard, and you remain solely responsible for your own site’s compliance with any laws or standards that apply to it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [YOUR COMPANY/LEGAL ENTITY NAME] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period (see Refund Policy).
13. Changes to the Services or these Terms
We may update the Plugin, the Services, or these Terms at any time. For material changes to these Terms, we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g. by email or a website notice). Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise for consumers in their own jurisdiction.
